Location: Sunnyvale, CA
Duration:  Full Time Permanent

Responsibilities:

  *   Overall software development experience in product companies - 7-10 years.
  *   Exposure on core java o knowledge on collection - primitive data structures, o IO handling - file handling- socket programming
  *   Modeling experience
  *   Multi-threading and concurrency handling
  *   Exposure on evaluation/selection of right kind of algorithms/data-structures
  *   Exposure in IPC mechanisms
  *   Exposure on handling non-functional aspects like performance tunings, scale issues, maintainability, debug ability etc
  *   Experience in handling design/development of complex projects.
  *   Exposure on design challenges or critical technical decision makings on design or selecting tools/technologies etc
  *   Design and develop a distributed Java application that communicates synchronously and asynchronously using Java standard techniques. ?
  *   Know messaging principles, such as publish-subscribe, request-reply, reliable delivery, and large message transfer. Especially JMS. ??
  *   Design and develop a high-performance relational database schema.
  *   Proficient with real world expertise in Java, GWT, JavaFx, CSS, XML, Java script. This includes depth with the language, compilation, byte-code, class loading, execution, common libraries, concurrency, performance and packaging. Of these concurrency is especially valuable for this position.
  *   Work with modern tools and methodologies for design, development, project management, feature and issue tracking and architectural evaluations
  *   Maintain product builds and service packs
  *   Soft-skills: o Excellent communication and customer interaction skills
  *   Team player.

  *   5+ Years of J2EE Server-side programming
  *   Customer interaction skills
  *   Troubleshooting skills
  *   Multi-threaded programming
  *   Performance Tuning
  *   Self-motivated and team player
