Dear Sharon,

The Department of Computer Science at Texas State University is offering an NSF-CNS funded REU (research experiences for undergraduate) summer program in Internet of Things (IoT).  We have ten undergraduate positions available. We are accepting applications from prospective undergraduate students right now.  Could you please post, forward or tell your students about this opportunity?

The key benefits of our REU program are:

1)   Working closely with a faculty mentor on a research project in Internet of Things

2)   Generous stipend ($4500 for 9 weeks)

3)   Travel reimbursement of up to $600

4)   Free on campus housing and meal allowance

5)   Field trips to industrial laboratories

6)   Learning how to write quality research papers and give research presentations

7)   Building a network of supporting communities for future graduate career
