Part-time CS position at Gordon Food Service

Gordon Food Service
This is a part time position.  Working around 20 hours a week.



Among many responsibilities, this position is involved in the following activities on a regular basis:



*  Collaborate with team members to design a technical solution to a business need

*  Translate software requirements into Java source code

*  Participate on the technical readiness for the new software implementations

*  Develop unit and functional tests against the business process

*  Perform a code review with team members and business owners



Key qualifications for this position include:



*  Experience in Java and SQL preferred

*  Experience with Unix/Linux is a plus

*  Ability to utilize Google Tools (Mail, Document, Spreadsheet, Site, ...)

*  Strong attention to detail

*  Effective time management skills

*  Demonstrate your programming capability through a specific exercise as part of the interview process

*  Effective written and verbal communication skills

*  Ability and willingness to learn

*  Enjoy problem solving



Key requirements for this position include:



*  Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field

*  Completed at least 4  semesters of college level courses

*  Ability to work part-time during the school year, and full-time hours in the summer
