Subject: Need for student employee in CIT
Greetings,
CIT is looking for a student employee for the Spring Semester to help update and improve the CIT web pages, and I was wondering if any of you might have someone in mind who would have some of the following skills. I realize that each of you may only be able to recommend based on your area of expertise/teaching. We are not looking to do a major overhaul at this time as much as cleaning up content, adding content, and making the navigation easier across the site.
* Good writing skills; good grammar skills. Able to breakdown information into clear and concise communication.
* Knowledgeable about current web design best practices. We want to simplify our website to make it more readable and useful, as well as consistent in form and function.
* Dreamweaver skills. We can teach this to some extent, but applicant should know how to use web tools.
I realize it may be hard to get all these skills in one person. This student will report to one staff member for daily duties and also be part of a Communications Team in CIT.
Thanks for any help you can provide!
Bill
