Job Title UX / UI Designer*
*Description*
Datacomp, a small, fast growing, entrepreneurial company is looking
for a full time UX / UI
Designer to join its development team in Grand Rapids, MI. During
the next year, Datacomp will
be creating and maintaining products, websites, and mobile
applications that serve our industry;
including MHVillage.com our flagship website which enjoys more than
48,000 visitors per day.
Developers and designers at Datacomp work in a closely integrated,
team oriented environment.
All team members participate in all phases of product development,
implementation, and
maintenance. Attention to detail, an end user focus, and creativity
are required.
*Skills and Experience needed*
* Talent to design attractive, professional user interfaces for both
simple and complicated products
* Ability to write well structured, semantic HTML
* Aptitude to write scalable, re-usable CSS files
* Capability to code in JavaScript
* Competence with Photoshop or comparable graphics program
*Skills and Experience extras*
* Experience with PHP or comparable language
* Understanding of MySQL or comparable database
* Search Engine Optimization
* Responsive Design
