Blue Medora is looking for summer 2018 interns for the following positions:

Software Engineer Intern
Blue Medora Software Engineers write software responsible for monitoring, reporting, and analyzing the largest datacenters in the world. Our software and tooling are built using Kotlin, Java, C++, Ruby, and Python. Because our products are deployed on several operating systems, we work with several flavors of Linux, Unix, and Windows. We also encourage and set aside time for developers to create tooling and applications to improve our workflows. We are looking for students who are passionate about software development, learning, and mentoring others.

Our Software Engineering Interns are placed on an agile development "pod", working alongside full time Software Engineers and Quality Assurance (QA) Engineers. Your assigned mentor will walk you through the full software development lifecycle, developing both your computer programing skills and your understanding of what goes into building a successful software product. You'll be able to make meaningful contributions to the products used by our customers every day, as well as the tooling supporting the engineering team.

Software Quality Engineer Intern
The QA team rigorously tests and ensures that Blue Medora's products are the highest quality they can be. QA engineers do performance testing, build testing, component testing, system testing, and integration testing on all of our products. Apart from executing and designing the tests, the QA team often works to develop their own set of tools for test automation. This includes the use of Java, Perl, PHP, Ruby, and many other scripting and programming languages.

Engineering Operations Engineer Intern (a.k.a. "DevOps")
The EngOps team creates and maintains the target environments for our products throughout the software development lifecycle. These environments include databases, storage arrays, networking switches, and virtualization environments.

If you are interested in any of these positions, please send an email to me at <rick.pocklington at bluemedora.com<mailto:rick.pocklington at bluemedora.com>> by Friday, November 10. Please include your resume, and which position(s) you're interested in.

Thanks!
