> One thing that makes us unique is our apprentice program. Each year, we hire a new class of software apprentices. An EduSource apprenticeship is different than an internship. Through intense training and an emphasis on mentoring, partly because of the training we offer and partly because of our program isn’t just one summer. In fact, our students work for us for up to two full years (we prefer to start them after their sophomore years in college, but we hire juniors, as well), full time (in Indianapolis) during the summers and part time (remotely) during the school years.

> Money! Apprentices start at a competitive hourly rate and get raises based on experience and leadership opportunities. Over two years working at EduSource, apprentices can earn more than $40,000.
> Experience. Recent graduates often have a hard time finding that first job – employers want five years of experience. As an apprentice, you’ll get the first two years under your belt. We’ll be thrilled to write you a great recommendation.
> A possible future job. At this point, we’ve offered full-time jobs to 75% of our graduating apprentices. A full-time job at EduSource offers many additional benefits.

> ·         Current sophomores and juniors. We generally only accept students that have finished their sophomore year at a four-year, accredited university. Students can only start an apprenticeship in the summer, so we also don’t accept current seniors.
> ·         Computer science majors. We are happy to talk to those in similar majors, like software engineering.
> ·         Creative problem solvers. We value innovation highly, and part of the application process involves a group problem-solving activity.
> ·         Dependable students. Since our apprentices work during the school year, too, we need people who can juggle being a full-time student and working part-time. We expect our apprentices to be mature beyond their years.
