IT Technician Position
Nonlinear Tech is an Information Technology consulting firm that provides outsourced IT services for small and medium-sized businesses in the West Michigan area.
Your role will be to assist our lead technician in technical work for our clients. You will be doing some work remotely, and some work on site.   Workload may vary from week to week, but as we are growing rapidly, the workload is likely to increase over the next few months.

You should be able to handle technical tasks and small projects and deliver high-quality work under minimum supervision.
You’ll be doing technical work for our clients, tasks which will include:

  *   Installing laptops and desktop workstations
  *   Upgrading RAM and hard drive components
  *   Troubleshooting internet and network connections
  *   Delivering network equipment and performing initial setup
  *   Performing antivirus and malware cleanup and mitigation
  *   Responding to phone and email requests

  *   You have experience in IT-related work, specifically in Windows Servers, Domains and Microsoft operating systems
  *   You are deeply familiar with IP networking, equipment and common procedures for routers, switches, WiFi and cabling
  *   You have excellent troubleshooting skills
  *   You pay attention to detail
  *   You follow established procedures well
  *   You document your work clearly and completely
  *   You are very organized and can work with clients who need help organizing their work
  *   You pay attention to deadlines and finish work on time
