Resume Do's and Don'ts Workshop - September 18
by Calvin Career Center (email<mailto:career at calvin.edu>)

Do you know a student that could use help developing their resume? If so, please encourage them to join us on September 18, 2019 for our first Career Connections Workshop on Resume Do's and Don'ts. Please have them bring a copy of their resume for an employer review! Refreshments will be provided.
Speaker: Tekton
Location: Meeter Center Lecture Hall
Time: 3:30 - 4:30 PM

Many people think of a resume as a summary of every job they've had and what their tasks were, but really a resume is a one-page marketing document to sell yourself to an employer and secure an interview. What should go on your resume? How should it be organized? What are strong action verbs that help demonstrate your skills? Gain insights from an employer who has reviewed thousands of resumes and knows what works.
Thank you for passing this information along!
