Purpose: To allow users the ability to search (but more importantly compare pricing) for certain healthcare services by certain criteria, e.g. a) zip code, or b)  service, or c) price, d) professional/doctor etc. The goal is to centralize the cost of healthcare by using price as a decision factor. Think gas stations - the average consumers of gas are price sensitive and make decisions based on price over anything else. An MRI in Grand Rapids, MI is no different than an MRI in Topeka, KS - the only difference is the price, which in most cases is arbitrary due to insurance.

I'm looking to test the feasibility of this idea by building a working prototype.

The project will require (but not limited to and would like to discuss functionality):

1. Database to house data
2. Web based search function of the database
3. Search features leverages data points on top of google maps API (So if you do a google search for dog walkers, you have a map feature that shows the names, price of services on a map) (see image below)
4. Mobile application that does the same thing as #3.
5. Ability to provide user with coupon code/scan code etc for using application for agreed upon service - think GoodRx
6. CMS (content management system) type of interface to add data or info as need (open for discussion)
