GE Aviation - Ben Bufford Summer Internship

Ben Bufford graduated from Calvin University in 2006 with a degree in electrical engineering. He went on to work as an engineer at General Electric and won GE's competitive ERD Award for his work as lead engineering and technologist at GE Aviation's Navigation and Guidance division. Perhaps more than Ben's professional achievements, it was his volunteer service that made him a widely respected figure in the Grand Rapids community.

Out of recognition and gratitude for Ben's technical skills, dedication to the field of engineering, leadership, and call to service, GE Aviation, in collaboration with Calvin University, established the Ben Bufford GE summer internship.

Internship requirements:

  *   Minimum 3.0 GPA
  *   Current junior, entering senior year in fall 2022
  *   Major in Electrical & Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Mathematics
