PURPOSE/OVERVIEW:
The Christian Reformed Church in North America (CRCNA) has a part-time or full time position for a Salesforce Developer to join our Information Technology Applications team. If you are a technical, detail oriented person with strong customer service skills, this job is for you!  In this role, you will grow to be the technical expert on a collaborative team focused on providing automation and integration solutions across the organization.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

* Develop and test customizations to Salesforce database structure, process automations and user interfaces using low code approaches to help users reach their goals more efficiently.
* Develop system integrations between Salesforce and other systems and data warehouses using low code approaches.
* Troubleshoot database and system integration issues and work with end users to resolve them.
* Follow robust testing, change management procedures.
* Create and maintain documentation related to database systems, business procedures, and information vital for the department.
* Work directly with stakeholders across the organization to understand current and future needs related to database systems.
* Participate in agile development sprints.
* Investigate/evaluate the use of third party functionality as solutions to user needs where applicable.
* Maintain current Salesforce.com Platform Developer certification and seek education/certification in Salesforce.com, Force.com or other relevant technologies.

Education & Experience
* Some college/university coursework is required, Bachelor's degree preferred
* At least 1 year work experience or 2 years of coursework with data structures/database design is required (Salesforce, MS SQL, Access, complex Excel spreadsheets, etc). Salesforce experience preferred.
* At least 1 year work experience or 2 years of coursework in Software development/computer programming is required.
* At least 1 year of experience working with end users or customers to help identify and solve complex problems is required.
* Experience working with Google Cloud Platform and Workato, or similar cloud computing and integration platforms is preferred.

Certifications
Current Salesforce.com Platform Developer certification needs to be obtained within 1 year.
