Lawrence Technological University, in Southfield, Michigan, will be hosting an NSF-funded REU (Research Experience for Undergraduates) site this summer, from May 23-July 15. This opportunity will focus on the study and practical implementation of algorithms for self-driving vehicles.

Accepted students will join a cohort of eight and engage in active learning and research, each funded with a stipend of $4,800 (with on-campus food and housing provided). Students traveling from outside the Metro Detroit area will be eligible for an additional travel reimbursement of $500.
