Now I'm at a company in Philadelphia called Azavea that's running a summer fellowship program for software engineers, focused on open source. See <a href="https://fellowship.azavea.com/" class="">https://fellowship.azavea.com/</a>.<br class=""><br class=""></div>This summer will be the second time we've done this program, though there's a GIS summer fellowship that's been going for longer and that had a Calvin grad in 2016 (<a href="http://www.summerofmaps.com/" class="">http://www.summerofmaps.com/</a>).<br class=""></div><div class=""><br class=""></div><div class="">The program is open to people between years, though I think people who are graduating might have the best shot, both because the proposed projects are somewhat ambitious and because there's some recruiting motivation (one of the fellows from last summer was hired on). I'm in the pool of potential mentors, but I'm not involved in the selection process.</div><div class=""><br class=""></div><div class="">Anyway, if there's a department list or board for things like this, could you share the page on there?
