Colloquium: User Experience Counts!

The speaker at this week's computer science colloquium is Dr. Sarah Swierenga.  Dr. Sarah Swierenga is the director of Usability/Accessibility Research and Consulting (UARC) at Michigan State University, and professor by courtesy in the Department of Telecommunication, Information Studies, and Media. She is a human factors psychologist by background and training, and has conducted user experience studies for most of her career. Sarah's had fun designing and testing user interfaces in several contexts that include commercial UI usability and accessibility, F-16 cockpits, healthcare IT, outdoor recreation mobile apps, and accessible voting systems.
