Cloud Application Developer

We are an established and growing Grand Rapids, Michigan based organization with a passion (and the matching track record) to dream, design, develop, and market world-class Internet based business applications. Position: Cloud Application Developer/Programmer

What you will be doing:
- Hands on participation in the design, coding, unit testing, deployment, and support of our SAAS projects.
- Programming Server side application modules within a LAMP(Perl, Python, PHP) environment.
- Supporting development services for the interface team using Javascript, CSS, HTML, XML.
- Contributing with fellow team members to the development of Creative Briefs, Storyboards and Prototypes.
- Conducting research and development in new and emerging technologies related to our existing and new ventures.
- Communicating with clients and fellow team members in both meeting and written report formats.
- Preparing and maintaining clear documentation for program components and projects that you work on.
- Growing daily with your fellow team members in knowledge, experience, and new accomplishments.

What skills, experience, and qualifications are we looking for:
- Strong programming ability in one or more of the following languages: Perl, Python, Java, PHP, C/C++.
- Experience in a UNIX/Linux environment.
- The ability to work and thrive in an Agile project setting.
- Familiarity and a working understanding of client side scripting languages including Javascript, HTML, and CSS.
- A lifelong curiosity and passion to continue learning.
- A Results oriented attitude and strong problem-solving skills.
- Work habits that reflect strong personal discipline and result in delivering high quality products on time.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- The ability to work positively within a team.

What are the educational requirements for this position:
Although a BS in Computer Science or similar field is an advantage, it is not required.
We are interested in people who have a passion for developing great software, a desire to succeed, and the practical experience to become valuable members of our team.

Full-time/Part-time/Days-Evenings/Flex-schedule/Possible Telecommunte available for this position
