This is a volunteer position at CRC North America near 28th and Kalamazoo. It won’t have enough hours for a CS394 internship, but the experience would look good on a resume. Contact Pat Harper below. She will look forward to hearing from you!

Subject: Possible Volunteer?

Hi Patrick,
It's been quite a while since we communicated and I hope this finds you doing well.

As you know, Scott Crickmore is no longer working for World Renew (formerly CRWRC) and we've been contracting with an external consultant for some of the reports that we need. We are at a point with this consultant where we have just a few report fixes, but not enough work to actually sign a whole contract. I am wondering if you have a student who is looking for some volunteer experience? I would rather ask you for an intern, but I don't think we have enough work to keep an intern busy for an entire semester.

We are working with a program called Report Builder 2.0, which is how the reports are generated out of the Newdea software we use for planning and reporting. We used to use SQL, where we had to export the data, but now we generate all of our reports right out of Newdea. I'm not sure if you guys even teach Report Builder but if it's something that anyone is familiar with we sure could use some help if you have a student who needs volunteer experience.

Let me know if you have any questions. Thanks for considering this.
