Technical/Functional Skills:

  *   Must have experience as a Tech Lead for Big data projects
  *   Must have significant experience with architecting and designing solutions using Cloudera Hadoop
  *   Must have significant experience with ., Java Map Reduce, PIG, Hive, Hbase, Oozie and Sqoop
  *   Must have significant experience with Unix Shell Scripts
  *   Exposure to Healthcare Provider domain

Roles & Responsibilities:

  *   Architect and Design solutions. Provide technical expertise in researching, designing, implementing and maintaining business application solutions.
  *   Estimate size, effort, complexity of solutions
  *   Plan, track and report project status
  *   Mentor, guide and train Team members on Big Data
  *   Perform moderately to highly complex development tasks and assignments using Cloudera Hadoop.
  *   Prepare detailed specifications, diagrams, and other programming structures from which programs are written.
  *   Designs, codes, tests, debugs, and documents moderately to highly complex processes, in addition to performing advanced application maintenance tasks.
  *   Perform complex coding tasks using Python, Java Map Reduce, PIG, Hive, Hbase, Oozie and Sqoop
  *   Review and certify code written by team members
  *   Ensures that established change management and other procedures are adhired to also help developing needing standards, procedures, and practices.
  *   Performance tuning with large data sets.


Generic Managerial Skills:

  *   Ability to lead the team, plan, track and manage and work performed by team members
  *   Ability to work independently and communicate across multiple levels (Product owners, Executive sponsors, Team members)
