Job Description:Big Data / Hadoop Technical Lead
Technical/Functional Skills
·        Must have experience as a Tech Lead for Big data projects
·        Must have significant experience with architecting and designing solutions using Cloudera Hadoop
·        Must have significant experience with Python, Java Map Reduce, PIG, Hive, Hbase, Oozie and Sqoop
·        Must have significant experience with Unix Shell Scripts
·        Exposure to Healthcare Provider domain
Roles & Responsibilities
·        Architect and Design solutions. Provide technical expertise in researching, designing, implementing and maintaining business application solutions.
·        Estimate size, effort, complexity of solutions
·        Plan, track and report project status
·        Mentor, guide and train Team members on Big Data
·        Perform moderately to highly complex development tasks and assignments using Cloudera Hadoop.
·        Prepare detailed specifications, diagrams, and other programming structures from which programs are written.
·        Designs, codes, tests, debugs, and documents moderately to highly complex processes, in addition to performing advanced application maintenance tasks.
·        Perform complex coding tasks using Python, Java Map Reduce, PIG, Hive, Hbase, Oozie and Sqoop
·        Review and certify code written by team members
·        Ensures that established change management and other procedures are adhired to also help developing needing standards, procedures, and practices.
·        Performance tuning with large data sets.
