Job Description #1: IT

Department Name: IT Restaurant Technology Support



Tasks / Responsibilities the resource will be responsible to execute:

*             Troubleshoot point of sale, back office, and cashless payment systems

*             Document known issues and workarounds

*             Receive support calls from vendors and our L2 helpdesk

*             Improve administrative processes

*             Solve technical problems in real McDonald's restaurants

*             Collaborate with software developers, operators, and McDonald's vendors



Skill Set Requirements:

*             Strong understanding of Windows environment

*             Basic understanding of computer hardware and networking

*             Strong written and verbal communication skills

*             Strong problem solving ability

*             Understanding of SDLC

*             Customer service experience is a plus

*             Experience with VB, Excel, PowerShell, Unix, and XML is a plus



Job Description #2: IT

Department Name: IT QRD (Quick Response Development)



Tasks / Responsibilities the resource will be responsible to execute:

*             Planning, facilitation and follow up for key stakeholder meetings around feature/functionality.

*             Leading and driving out requirements, estimating work, developing use case scenarios, impact assessments and cost/benefit analysis working with key stakeholders.

*             Collaborating with team members to deliver on tight timelines in an ambiguous environment.

*             Working closely with US IT software teams to validate features through design reviews and testing.

*             Representing the right priority for issues and changes at during defect management and change management processes. The ideal candidate will have experience gathering and documenting requirements, facilitating meetings, and delivering results. This person must be a highly organized, self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment and have proven measurable experience with all aspects of the SDLC.



Skill Set Requirements:

*             Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to communicate technical information to non-technical audiences

*             Ability to work in a client-facing role

*             Ability to build strong working relationships

*             Process mapping, workflow analysis, data modeling, and design tools experience

*             Strong problem-solving skills and ability to focus on details as well as the big picture

*             Experience identifying project tasks and providing estimates for those tasks

*             Ability to adhere and promote standard business analyst tools, procedures and best practices

*             Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, specifically Word, Excel and Visio

*             Experience working with multiple priorities and projects with tight deadlines

*             Experience with Microsoft SharePoint
