Job Description: This individual will use their strong technical and troubleshooting skills to take a technical problem, determine cause and effect from various input sources and personal discovery and work with a broader team to resolve the issue.  The primary focus will be to support the Tier 1 support team to resolve technical issues both software and IT (hardware, network) related along with either software development and / or software testing.  The candidate will also work with some customers directly; assisting them in troubleshooting advanced support issues and helping them deploy our application builds to their servers as well as deploying interfaces with clinical systems.  Occasional Tier 1 support when Tier 1 support team is unavailable.

Requirements:

*         Strong technical skills

*         Strong interpersonal skills

*         Strong troubleshooting skills

*         Effective communicator (written and phone)

Nice to haves:

*         Experience with and knowledge of RFID technologies

*         Software development or testing experience

*         Customer Service / Support experience

*         Project management experience

*         Windows desktop and server experience

*         Experience in the healthcare industry in particular system interfaces

Primary Responsibilities:

*         Tier II software support

*         Either software development or software testing (depending on the candidate)

*         Extremely limited after-hours support
