● Strong technical exposure such as Hadoop, Unix, Unix Scripting, SQL, Hive, Impala, Python, AWS

● Knowledge related to Hadoop. Create and maintain optimal data pipeline architecture

● Solid programming knowledge on Python

● Good knowledge of database structures, theories, principles, and practices.

● Ability to write MapReduce jobs.

● High‐performance, reliable and maintainable code writing skills.

● Good aptitude in multi‐threading and concurrency concepts.

● Proven understanding with Hadoop, Hive, Impala

● AWS cloud services EC2, S3, RDS, Redshift, Lambda functions

● Advanced working SQL knowledge and experience working with relational databases, query authoring (SQL)

● UNIX/ Linux skills, including basic commands, shell scripting, and system administration/configuration will be good to have

● Analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills
